Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting Qualified Primary Teachers to work across Leicester and the surrounding areas. Roles include full-time, part-time, long-term and day-to-day supply with flexible options to suit availability and goals.

Qualified teachers with QTS and UK primary experience are desired. You’ll work in multiple local schools, focusing on safeguarding and pupil wellbeing while delivering high-quality education.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent is required.
• Experience teaching in a UK primary school is preferred.
• Strong classroom and behaviour-management skills are essential.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities are important.
• Passionate about supporting children's learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons.
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Manage behaviour effectively and maintain high expectations.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress.
• Differentiate lessons to meet learning needs.
• Mark and provide constructive feedback on pupils' work.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
• Follow school policies, including safeguarding procedures.
• Work closely with teaching assistants and other staff.
• Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school where required.
