Randstad UK is seeking Flexible Primary Teachers (KS1/KS2) for West Sussex & Surrey. Roles include long-term class placements or day-to-day supply with competitive daily pay and weekly payroll.

You’ll deliver engaging lessons, manage diverse classrooms, and support pupils with targeted interventions, while coordinating with TAs and SEN staff. Applicants should have QTS or UK equivalent, a valid UK driving license, and an updated DBS.

Qualifications

• QTS or UK equivalen t required.
• Valid UK driver’s license and access to a reliable personal vehicle.
• Strong working knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum (KS1/KS2).
• Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willingness to complete one).
• Phonics frameworks familiarity preferred (Read Write Inc., Bug Club, Letters and Sounds).

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, creative lessons aligned with the Primary National Curriculum for KS1 or KS2.
• Inspire curiosity and drive student attainment by scaffolding learning for diverse needs.
• Foster an inclusive, positive, and safe classroom environment where every child feels valued.
• Direct Teaching Assistants and SEN support staff to deliver targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions.
• Use proactive behavior management strategies to maintain a calm and productive atmosphere.
• Track pupil development and use data-driven insights to adapt future planning.
• Maintain professional partnerships with parents, SENCOs, and school leadership teams.
• Utilize your personal vehicle to travel reliably to school sites across West Sussex and Surrey.
