Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is actively recruiting Primary Supply Teachers to work in welcoming primary schools across Nottingham and surrounding areas. You can opt for day-to-day supply, short-term, or long-term positions, with roles across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

Ideal candidates hold UK QTS, strong behaviour management, and flexible, proactive teaching approaches. DBS Update Service or willingness to apply is preferred, and ECTs are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK is essential.
• Experience teaching across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 is expected.
• Strong classroom management and positive behaviour strategies.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills are required.
• DBS Update Service or willingness to apply is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons across EYFS, KS1, KS2.
• Follow school planning or deliver pre-prepared lessons.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet diverse pupil needs.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
• Ensure safeguarding and school policies are followed.
• Choose assignments that fit your availability.
