Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting enthusiastic Primary School Teaching Assistants to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 on both a part-time and full-time basis throughout the academic year.

Roles available across Sunderland and South Tyneside with placements matched to your availability and travel preferences. We are also working with partner schools to support long-term and permanent staff appointments for September.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification.
• Experience working with children in nursery/primary setting.
• Passion for children's education and development.

Responsibilities

• Support class teacher with lessons and classroom activities.
• Work with small groups or on a 1:1 basis with pupils.
• Support children with additional learning needs where required.
• Assist with classroom routines and behaviour management.
• Encourage pupil engagement, confidence and independence.
• Support children's social, emotional and educational development.
• Help create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.
