Job summary

Teacher Active is currently looking to expand our pool of enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to work with partner primary schools across Nottingham and the surrounding areas. Opportunities range from day-to-day flexible supply to short-term cover and longer-term placements.

As an LSA, you could support pupils in the classroom, work 1:1, in small groups or provide targeted interventions to help children access their learning, including SEN, ASD and SEMH needs, while building positive

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
• Experience within a primary school, nursery or SEN setting.
• Passion for supporting children's learning and development.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and work as part of a school team.

Responsibilities

• As an LSA, you will support pupils in class, 1:1 or in small groups.
• Provide targeted interventions to help children access their learning.
• Assist with safeguarding and pupil wellbeing as directed by the school.
