Fylde Council is seeking a proactive Planning Enforcement Officer to join our Planning Enforcement team within Development Management. You will manage a varied caseload, monitor developments, and investigate breaches of planning control to uphold decisions.

You’ll work across a borough with coastal and rural areas, engaging with residents, developers and elected members, and you’ll have access to training and development opportunities as part of a modern local authority.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to engage with residents, developers and elected members.
• Knowledge of planning legislation and planning system operations is an advantage.
