Job summary

The Door Youth Project in Gloucestershire is seeking enthusiastic Youth Support Workers to join our award-winning team. You will support young people aged 11 to 17 in safe, inclusive environments, helping them grow socially and emotionally.

Flexible, mostly afternoon and evening shifts; ongoing training. You will work across Stroud and surrounding areas. Own transport is helpful. Enhanced DBS and references required. Sponsorship is not available for international applicants.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with young people in a youth work setting is desirable but not essential.
• Awareness of issues facing young people today is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Accompany young people in providing safe, inclusive and engaging environments.
• Plan, deliver and evaluate sessions; deputise when required to empower young people to develop personally, socially and emotionally.
