Job summary

Full training will be provided during induction and ongoing development. Shifts are available to cover a flexible timetable at Treasure Seekers Building, 52 Westgate Street, Gloucester, GL1 2NF.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting people, especially young people, and/or individuals with mental health issues.

Responsibilities

• To support and engage with those attending the mental health drop-in.
• To manage the environment and handle challenging behaviour.
• To liaise with and signpost to other agencies for specialist support.
• To assist with maintaining a clean and tidy environment.
• To work with the support lead/team leader under direction.
• To encourage and enthuse fellow team members.
• To have a basic understanding of mental health.
