Job summary

Step by Step Partnership is seeking a part-time Support Worker to help ensure the safety and well-being of young people in our foyer. The role involves building relationships, guiding personal growth, and producing action plans published to the team.

You will work 15 hours every other weekend, with shifts Saturday 4.00pm–12.00am and Sunday 4.00pm–12.00am. Training provided and a funded qualification is available.

Qualifications

• Step by Step is interested in employing people with the right skills and attitude, so previous experience is not necessarily needed.
• Availability to work shifts, 15 hours every other weekend.
• Enhanced DBS check and two references required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and well-being of young people in the foyer and adhere to safeguarding and health and safety protocols.
• Create and monitor individual action plans and provide tailored advice to foster independence.
• Build professional relationships and work with assigned young people to achieve positive outcomes.
• Assist with housing benefit applications and facilitate workshops.
