Job summary

Tower Supply is seeking a Part Time Year 3/4 Teacher to cover a class from September 2026 at a popular primary school in Blackpool. The role is for four days a week (potentially three days by arrangement) with full-day hours.

QTS or equivalent is required, along with experience in primary teaching and DBS clearance. Competitive weekly pay and flexible scheduling options are offered by Tower Supply.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Proven experience in teaching in a primary or school setting.
• Good classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in different schools and classrooms.
• A current Enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to undergo a DBS check through ourselves.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality lessons to pupils in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
• Deliver lessons that have been prepared.
• Manage student behavior in accordance with school policies and procedures.
• Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
• Provide feedback to students and the regular teacher on their progress and areas for improvement.
