Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd. is seeking qualified Part-Time Supply Teachers to work across local primary schools in the Merton area. Flexible days, supportive consultant and varied teaching opportunities across key stages.

Ideal for balance with existing commitments, you will deliver lessons, manage behaviour, and adapt to new environments while maintaining high standards of safeguarding and pupil progress.

Qualifications

  • QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • UK teaching experience desirable.
  • Enhanced DBS Update Service or willingness to apply.
  • Right to work in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across a variety of subjects and year groups.
  • Follow lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning.
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

  • Adapt quickly to different schools and classroom settings.
  • Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and progress of all pupils.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Previous teaching experience within UK schools is desirable.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Reliable, flexible, and professional approach to teaching.
  • Ability to adapt confidently to different school environments.
  • Must hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
  • Right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
