Job summary

Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust is seeking a Premise Cleaner for Halifax Ambulance Station on a part-time basis (16 hours per week). The role involves cleaning, decontamination, and maintaining infection prevention standards across station facilities, in line with Trust protocols.

Shifts are Monday to Friday between 0600 and 0930, with pattern to be agreed; flexibility for out-of-hours work and basic IT tasks are required, along with a current B class driving license valid in the UK.

Qualifications

• Previous workplace premises cleaning experience within last two years.
• Ability to work individually or as a team.
• Flexibility to work out of hours to meet service requirements.
• Current 'B' Class driving Licence valid in the UK.
• Good literacy and numerical skills to complete worksheets and reports.
• Awareness of Workplace Health and Safety, COSHH, risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Clean and decontaminate stations and sites to meet cleanliness standards.
• Maintain cleaning stocks and record daily activities.
• Follow Trust Cleaning Protocols and daily work schedules.
• Complete basic IT paperwork, emails and timesheets.
