Job summary

Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust is seeking an Ancillary Service Premise Cleaner at Filey Ambulance Station. This Band 2, part-time role offers 7.5 hours per week with a pro rata salary of £25,272 per annum and a 24/7 emergency service context.

The post requires a flexible, self-motivated individual able to work weekdays, comply with cleaning protocols, and engage in basic IT tasks. Training and development opportunities are available within Facilities Management.

Qualifications

• Previous workplace premise cleaning experience within last two years.
• Willingness to undertake role specific training including NVQ 2 Cleaning & Support Services or agreed equivalent.
• Flexibility to work out of hours to meet service and development/training requirements
• Current B class driving Licence which is valid in the UK.
• Good literacy and numerical skills to complete daily worksheets and reports.
• Basic IT Skills including use of keyboard, handheld data devices and telephones.

Responsibilities

• Undertake cleaning, decontamination, and other tasks to meet cleanliness and Infection Prevention and Control standards.
• Ensure activities align with Cleaning Protocols, procedures and daily work schedules.
• Maintain cleanliness across stations and sites (entrances, washrooms, kitchens, offices, etc.).
• Maintain stocks of cleaning materials and record daily activities; handle spills and deep cleaning as required.
• Use basic IT to input information (emails, timesheets).
