Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust is seeking a Premise Cleaner for Filey Ambulance Station. The role covers 7.5 hours per week across 3 days (2.5 hours daily), with shifts to be agreed.

Duties include cleaning, decontamination, and adherence to infection prevention standards. A very basic Physical Capability Assessment (PCA) is mandatory before any unconditional offer of employment, and a basic IT capability is required for emails and timesheets.

• Must undertake a 12–15 minute basic Physical Capability Assessment before any offer.

Responsibilities

• Clean and decontaminate stations and sites to meet infection prevention standards.
• Follow Cleaning Protocols, procedures and daily work schedules.
• Record daily activities and maintain stock of cleaning materials.
• Respond to urgent spillages and perform ad-hoc/deep cleaning as required.
• Use basic IT for emails and timesheets; communicate with senior staff as needed.

Yorkshire Ambulance Service :Facilities Management Team, are offering an opportunity for a 7.5 hours per week, Premise Cleaner at our Filey Ambulance Station. Weekday shift, 3 days, 2.5 hours per day, (Specific working pattern to be agreed) Working days and times are dependent upon provision required, due to the Yorkshire Ambulance Service being a 24/7 Emergency Service. Allocated Bank Holiday working maybe required. A very basic Physical Capability Assessment (PCA) is mandatory to this role, prior to any unconditional offer of employment. Duties will include Station/Site Cleaning: To undertake cleaning, decontamination, and other associated tasks to meet the high standards of cleanliness and Infection Prevention and Control measures required across our stations and sites. To ensure that all activities are performed in line with the Trust Cleaning Protocols, procedures, and specific daily work schedules. Achieving and maintaining all required standards of cleanliness across the organization. Our cleaning schedules include entrances and foyers, public and staff washrooms/toilets, kitchens, canteens/restaurant's, gym's, shower rooms, training rooms, corridors, stairs, landings, lifts, offices, contact centres, storerooms, dirty utility rooms, crew rooms, external areas, and other associated areas. To ensure adequate stocks of cleaning materials are maintained and to record all daily activities. This will include urgent spillage and ad-hock cleaning and deep cleaning as requested or where identified. Use of basic IT; access and inputting of information is essential. For example: Emails and time sheets. A flexible and can-do attitude towards ad-hoc changes in scheduled work, and any potential alternative location support cover within your shift is required. Due to the required site support needs and the nature of the Emergency Services health care provision, short notice changes can occur within task and duties. Can you work alone to effectively plan essential given tasks to ensure overall completion, within limited time restraints and communicate effectively with senior staff. The successful candidate will be required to undertake a 12-15-minute basic Physical Capability Assessment.
