Job summary

Optegra Eye Healthcare in Central London is seeking a Healthcare Technician (Band 3) Part Time with ophthalmic ward or theatre experience to join our prestigious private eye hospital. You will work a week across 3 days, with flexibility Monday to Friday, and benefit from fully funded training programmes to support your ongoing development.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in healthcare environment or ophthalmic sector.
• Basic Life Support competence.
• Highly organised with forward planning and ability to adapt to patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality patient care throughout visits.
• Assist with operating lists and coordinating with clinical staff.
• Perform diagnostic testing in clinic (Biometry, OCT, A-Scan, Visual fields, VA, IOP, Topography).
• Provide pre and postoperative care within competence and advise on health promotion.
