You will deliver lessons across KS3/KS4, cover a broad curriculum including GCSE preparation, and lead extracurricular activities within a supportive arts department.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge across Music, Drama, or Performing Arts.
• Confident delivering both practical and theoretical lessons.
• Inspire students through engaging, creative, and performance-based teaching.
• Have strong classroom management skills and maintain high expectations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and well-planned Music and Drama lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Teach a varied curriculum covering performance, composition, musical theory, acting, devising, and analysis.
• Inspire students to explore different musical styles, genres, and performance traditions.
• Develop students' confidence, creativity, communication, and performance skills.
• Prepare students for GCSE Music and/or Drama where applicable.
• Encourage participation in choirs, bands, ensembles, productions, concerts, and clubs.
• Use practical, creative teaching approaches to engage all abilities.
• Contribute to school productions, performances, and wider arts events.
