Job summary

Randstad Education in Blackpool is seeking a resilient Part-Time Cover Supervisor to support Key Stage 3/4 classes with pre-planned lessons. This role offers flexible days (1–4 per week) and no marking or planning tasks, focusing on classroom delivery and pupil engagement.

You'll need an enhanced DBS and right to work in the UK. The role provides weekly PAYE pay, access to free online professional development, and the chance to build valuable secondary school experience.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or leading groups of 11-16 year olds.
• Enhanced DBS check registered or willingness to apply for one.
• Full legal right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of KS3/KS4 classes with pre-planned activities.
• Maintain discipline using the academy’s behaviour framework.
• Circulate the room to keep pupils focused and safe.
• Leave feedback notes for returning staff on progress and attendance.
• Uphold safeguarding procedures and promote pupil welfare.
