Job summary

Aberdeen City Council is recruiting an Early Learning & Childcare Support Worker for Dyce School. The role supports the Senior Early Years Practitioner in planning and delivering high-quality early learning and childcare, meeting individual needs of children and families.

The post involves PVG membership requirements for regulated work with children, with potential salary considerations and a commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.

Qualifications

• PVG membership required for regulated work with children.
• SVQ Level 2 in Social Services – children and young people (SCQF Level 6) or willingness to register.
• Registration with or eligibility to register with SSSC is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Early Years Practitioner and Early Years Practitioner in planning and delivering high quality early learning and childcare.
• Meet individual needs of children and families, ensuring their wellbeing and outcomes.
• Contribute to a flexible, high quality service within the team.
