Job summary

Renfrewshire Council is seeking an enthusiastic Early Learning Support Worker to join the team on a part-time permanent basis. You will assist nursery staff in delivering early learning and childcare, support lunchtimes, and work with groups of children to organize playrooms.

The role requires commitment to completing the required qualification for SSSC criteria: NC Childhood Practice SCQF level 6 or SVQ Social Services (Children & Young People) SCQF level 6, or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Experience with children and young people
• Ability to communicate orally with children and adults
• Caring nature and responsiveness to needs of young children
• Registration with SSSC or willingness to register within designated timeline

Responsibilities

• Assist nursery officers in delivering early learning and childcare
