Job summary

Keltbray is seeking an experienced bookkeeper to support the finance function with flexible, family-friendly hours and a part-time arrangement. You will manage day-to-day financial records, cashbook, journals, and supplier payments, ensuring accurate coding and timely reconciliations while maintaining confidentiality.

The role offers a friendly SME environment with hybrid working and potential for additional hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in bookkeeping or finance administration with double-entry principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile cashbook and petty cash.
• Process purchase ledger invoices with proper coding and approvals.
• Prepare and post journals; reconcile related party and intercompany accounts.
• Set up supplier payments and assist with bank reconciliations.
• Support month-end procedures and reporting; respond to supplier queries.
• Provide general finance and administrative support and ad hoc tasks.
