Job summary

St Richard's Hospice in Worcester is seeking a physiotherapist to join its specialist palliative care team. You will assess and treat palliative care patients across the hospice and community, delivering face-to-face or virtual therapy and leading group sessions as required.

The post is permanent and part-time (3 days a week: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) with a driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months post-registration experience including core rotations in respiratory, neurology, musculoskeletal and community work.
• Ability to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality holistic palliative care.

Responsibilities

• Undertake holistic Physiotherapy assessment and treatment of palliative care patients as an autonomous practitioner, with support from colleagues.
• Deliver rehabilitation and therapy services across all clinical settings – in the hospice or community, face to face or virtually including delivering groups.
