Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is expanding its SEN tutoring network in Kent, offering flexible part-time and full-time opportunities to experienced education professionals.

Tutors will provide one-to-one support to primary and secondary SEN learners in schools, community settings, or learners’ homes. Successful applicants will deliver tailored sessions, monitor progress, and collaborate with families and schools.

Qualifications

• Experience working with SEN/SEND children or young people.
• Previous experience in teaching, tutoring, mentoring or education.
• Experience supporting learners within mainstream and/or specialist SEN settings.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored one-to-one tuition for SEN students.
• Plan and adapt sessions around individual needs.
• Support learners across primary and/or secondary education.
• Develop academic skills, confidence and independence.
• Monitor, assess and record progress.
• Build constructive relationships with families, schools and other professionals.
• Promote a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
