Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking SEN Tutors to provide one-to-one tuition across Shoreham-by-Sea and surrounding areas in West Sussex. Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities are available, with pay at £25 per hour for one-to-one sessions in schools, community venues, or learners' homes.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN/SEND.
• Previous experience in tutoring, education, mentoring, youth work, or similar settings.
• Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.
• Ability to travel within Shoreham-by-Sea and nearby areas.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver tailored one-to-one learning sessions.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet individual learner needs.
• Promote confidence and encourage independent learning.
• Track and record learner progress.
• Work closely with families, schools, and other professionals.
