Job summary

SMART Education Recruitment is seeking a Nursery Practitioner for a Kingswinford location. You will work with Early Years professionals to provide a safe, stimulating environment where children can learn and thrive through play and exploration.

You will help plan activities, support communication and independence, and promote personal, social, and emotional development. Experience in EYFS and Level 2/3 qualifications are essential, with safeguarding knowledge and references covering the last 24

Qualifications

Hands-on experience in a nursery or Early Years setting is essential.
Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
Ability to build positive, nurturing relationships with young children.
Confidence supporting children’s learning through play and planned activities.

Responsibilities

Support children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.
Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities.
Create and maintain a safe, organised, and stimulating nursery environment.
Encourage positive interactions and relationships between children.
Observe children and contribute to monitoring their progress.
Support individual routines and personal care needs as required.
Work collaboratively with other Nursery Practitioners and Early Years professionals.
Adhere to high standards of safeguarding, health and safety and child welfare.
