Job summary

TeacherActive is currently working with a well-established nursery in Liverpool seeking a Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner for flexible, temporary placements. The role supports children aged 0-5 under EYFS, with immediate starts available and emphasis on safety, engagement, and ongoing CPD.

Pay ranges from £14.25 to £18.00 per hour and includes access to a dedicated consultant and referral incentives. DBS checks and compliance are part of the onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare.
• A valid Paediatric First Aid certificate.
• Experience working with children aged 0-5 in a nursery or Early Years setting.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• A caring, enthusiastic and reliable approach.
• Flexibility and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support children across the nursery, following the EYFS framework.
• Deliver engaging activities and ensure children are cared for in a safe and positive environment.
