Job summary

Waitrose & Partners is hiring a Supermarket Assistant in the UK to help keep shelves stocked and deliver friendly, partner-led service to customers.

You will replenish stock, fulfill online orders for home delivery, reduce wastage, support the shop team including checkout and Click & Collect, and maintain a clean, safe working environment. Applicants must be 18+ and able to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment - ensuring shelves are full and products are in the right place for customers.
• Fulfilling online customer orders ready for drivers to deliver.
• Reducing wastage by following product due diligence and markdowns.
• Working with the wider shop team to support when needed including checkout support, Click & Collect, and on-demand orders.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment with general shopkeeping tasks.
