Job summary

Academics in Worksop is seeking a School Cleaner to work on a supply basis across local schools. The role is ad-hoc with early-morning shifts and a couple of hours per day, Monday to Friday. You will clean classrooms, corridors, toilets, and common areas to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for pupils and staff.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS certificate is required or willingness to obtain one.
• Health and Safety training is required.
• COSHH training is required.
• Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and correct use of cleaning products.
• Ability to commute across Worksop to multiple school sites.
• Reliable, flexible, and professional approach to working within school environments.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning of classrooms, corridors, toilets and communal areas.
• Ensure schools are clean, safe, and hygienic for pupils and staff.
