Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking General Practitioners for flexible, sessional work at Balmellie Road across multiple primary care settings in Scotland. You will provide urgent access care, routine reviews, and triage through clinics, with support from clinical teams and structured workflows.

The role offers autonomy, variety and consistent weekly availability, including evenings and weekends as required. GMC-registered with NHS Performers List is essential.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered GP with NHS Performers List inclusion.
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community primary care settings.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments.
• Indemnity and Enhanced DBS are valid.

Responsibilities

• Manage urgent and routine GP clinics across primary care settings.
• Conduct telephone consultations and triage.
• Prescribe within scope and handle medication queries.
• Record clinical notes in service-specific systems.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams.
