Locum Ready is looking for a GMC-registered General Practitioner to work for a GP practice in Richmond. The role offers flexible, well-organised sessions within a supportive primary care environment that provides a clear structure for daily clinical work.

You will manage a varied caseload, deliver high-quality patient assessments and provide continuity where required, with strong admin workflows and a team-focused approach to patient care.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered General Practitioner.
• Active inclusion on the NHS Performers List.
• Recent UK primary care experience.
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.
• Familiarity with EMIS, SystmOne or similar systems.
• Valid indemnity and Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Running routine and urgent GP clinics
• Managing acute presentations and complex cases
• Providing telephone consultations and triage as part of daily workflow
• Reviewing investigations, results and medication queries
• Prescribing safely and appropriately
• Documenting consultations clearly using the clinical system
• Supporting the practice with clinical actions and follow-up tasks
