Locum Ready is seeking a GMC-registered General Practitioner to cover a GP practice in Rainham. Ad-hoc or regular weekly sessions with flexible scheduling and a clear clinical workflow.

You will manage a varied caseload, provide telephone consultations and triage, and work with strong administrative support. UK primary care experience and appropriate indemnity are required.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered General Practitioner with full registration.
• Active inclusion on the NHS Performers List is required.
• Recent UK primary care experience is essential.
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills are required.
• Familiarity with EMIS or SystmOne or similar systems is preferred.
• Valid indemnity and Enhanced DBS clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Running routine and urgent GP clinics.
• Managing acute presentations and complex cases.
• Providing telephone consultations and triage as part of daily workflow.
• Reviewing investigations, results and medication queries.
• Prescribing safely and appropriately.
• Documenting consultations clearly using the clinical system.
• Supporting the practice with clinical actions and follow-up tasks.
