Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Locum General Practitioner to work at a GP practice in Rochester. The role offers flexible sessions with a clear daily clinical structure in a supportive primary care setting.

You will manage a varied caseload, deliver high-quality patient assessments and provide continuity where needed. The practice provides strong admin support, established workflows and a team-oriented approach to patient care.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered GP status required.
• Active inclusion on the NHS Performers List.
• Recent UK primary care experience.
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.
• Familiarity with EMIS, SystmOne or similar systems.
• Valid indemnity and Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Run routine and urgent GP clinics.
• Manage acute presentations and complex cases.
• Provide telephone consultations and triage as part of daily workflow.
• Review investigations, results and medication queries.
• Prescribe safely and appropriately.
• Document consultations clearly using the clinical system.
• Support the practice with clinical actions and follow-up tasks.
