Locum Ready is recruiting a Locum General Practitioner to work with a GP practice in Grantham. The role offers flexible, well-organised sessions within a supportive primary care environment with clear daily workflows.

You will manage a varied caseload, deliver high-quality patient assessments and provide continuity where required, supported by strong admin and established clinical workflows to ensure efficient session delivery.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered GP eligible to practice in the UK.
• Recent UK primary care experience required.
• Active inclusion on NHS Performers List.
• Strong decision-making and communication skills."
• Familiarity with EMIS or SystmOne systems.

Responsibilities

• Run routine and urgent GP clinics.
• Manage acute presentations and complex cases.
• Provide telephone consultations and triage as part of daily workflow.
• Review investigations, results and medication queries.
• Prescribe safely and appropriately.
• Document consultations clearly using the clinical system.
• Support the practice with clinical actions and follow-up tasks.
