Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an experienced General Practitioner for flexible primary care clinic sessions, across Academy Way and surrounding areas. This regional role offers structured GP sessions with autonomy and strong support.

You will manage routine and acute presentations, conduct telephone and face-to-face consultations, and participate in day-to-day clinical operations within established clinics.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered GP.
• NHS Performers List inclusion.
• Experience in primary care or community settings.
• Strong diagnostic and decision-making skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments.
• Valid indemnity and Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Delivering independent GP-led clinics within primary care settings.
• Managing acute, chronic and undifferentiated presentations.
• Conducting telephone triage and same-day access appointments.
• Prescribing safely within clinical guidelines.
• Handling clinical actions including results, referrals and medication reviews.
• Maintaining accurate digital clinical records.
