Job summary

Blackburn Rovers Football & Athletic is seeking a Chef de Partie for the Senior Catering team at the Blackburn Rovers Academy, Brockhall Village. The role involves day-to-day food preparation, supporting senior chefs and maintaining kitchen hygiene. Flexibility and commitment to standards are essential.

40 hours per week, permanent contract, based in Blackburn with responsibilities to uphold premium club standards in a fast-paced environment. DBS check required; closing date 1 October 2026.

Responsibilities

• To manage day-to-day food preparation and duties as directed by Lead/Head Chef.
• Prepare, cook and present food to high standards.
• Support senior chefs with smooth kitchen operations.
• Maintain excellent food hygiene and safety standards.
• Keep preparation areas clean, organised and well maintained.
• Manage your section during busy service periods.
• Follow recipes, specifications and portion controls.
• Help uphold high standards across the kitchen.
