Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Flexible Hours Shift Porter for Horton General Hospital, Banbury. The role is not full-time and involves a 24-hour rota, including nights and weekends, with enhanced rates for unsocial hours.

You will join the Portering Team to provide 24-hour support across wards and departments. Training is provided, and a 6‑month probation applies. Applicants should live within 30 minutes of the site.

Qualifications

• Educated to GSCE level.
• NVQ Level 2 in support services in healthcare.
• Experience in healthcare environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the shift-based Portering Team across the site.
• Work varied hours including nights, weekends and bank holidays.
• Live within 30 minutes travelling time to the hospital site.
• Read and adhere to the Job Description and Personal Specification.
