Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge including brakes, suspension, servicing, batteries and exhausts.
• Willingness to learn and develop a career in vehicle maintenance.
• Ability to use basic tools safely and correctly.
• Good attention to detail, especially on safety-critical components.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine servicing and vehicle maintenance.
• Support brake and suspension work.
• Assist with batteries, exhausts and other components.
• Carry out basic vehicle checks and inspections.
• Use basic hand tools and workshop equipment.
• Assist experienced technicians with fault finding and repairs.
• Develop knowledge of vehicle diagnostics.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized workshop.
• Follow health and safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
