Job summary

ASI Recruitment is recruiting for a well-established automotive business in Chichester to hire a Trainee Vehicle Technician. Salary ranges from £21,000 to £25,000 DOE, with Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm hours and no weekend work, plus full training to develop skills in servicing, repairs and maintenance.

You will assist experienced technicians, learn diagnostic techniques, and work toward becoming a fully qualified Technician in a supportive workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Motor Vehicle qualification or currently studying
• Genuine passion for cars and mechanics
• Hands-on attitude with willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced technicians with servicing, repairs and maintenance
• Carry out basic mechanical work as skills develop
• Learn diagnostic and repair techniques
• Work safely and efficiently within the workshop

Are you looking to start your career in the automotive industry and develop your skills as a Vehicle Technician?

We're working with a well-established automotive business who are looking for a Trainee Vehicle Technician to join their workshop team.

The Role

• Assisting experienced technicians with servicing, repairs and maintenance
• Carrying out basic mechanical work as your skills develop
• Learning diagnostic and repair techniques
• Working safely and efficiently within the workshop
• Developing your knowledge and progressing towards becoming a fully qualified Technician

About You

• Ideally studying or recently completed a Level 2 Motor Vehicle qualification
• A genuine passion for cars and mechanics
• Practical, hands-on attitude
• Keen to learn and develop
• Reliable and hardworking
• Previous workshop experience is advantageous but not essential
