Job summary

Wiltshire College & University Centre in Chippenham seeks a Lecturer in Early Years to deliver engaging, inclusive lessons on Early Years Education and Childcare programmes. This flexible, variable-hours role welcomes experienced practitioners moving into teaching and supports professional development.

The successful candidate will share industry practice, foster safeguarding and inclusion, and help learners achieve outcomes. Closing Date: 01/11/26.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 qualification or higher in Early Years, Childcare, Education or related subject.
• Strong knowledge of Early Years Education and Childcare practice.
• Teaching qualifications desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across Early Years Education and Childcare programmes.
• Assess student work and provide constructive feedback to support progress and achievement.
• Share current industry practice, professional expertise and practical experience.
• Help learners develop their understanding of child development, safeguarding, inclusion and effective approaches to supporting young children.
• Contribute to positive learner experiences and outcomes.
