Job summary

Qualifications

• You will need a technical or similar qualification and be prepared to undertake the Health Screener qualification.
• Experience in NHS or health service settings is desirable and ability to run eye screening clinics.
• Commitment to delivering high quality digital retinal imaging and patient history collection.

Responsibilities

• Run eye screening clinics, administer eye drops and take patient history.
• Capture high quality retinal images using fundus and OCT cameras for diabetic patients.
• Remind patients of appointments and ring DNAs for clinics.
• Triaging and recognising diabetic abnormalities for fast track referral.
• Drive between screening venues across Northamptonshire on a rota basis.
