Job summary

Chelmsford Star Co-op is seeking enthusiastic people to join a passionate, multi-skilled team in a busy store. You will support the daily running of the store, covering checkouts, shop floor, housekeeping, date code checks, temperature checks, administration, and possibly the in-store bakery, while promoting membership.

No prior experience required; with pride in appearance and a willingness to learn, you’ll engage warmly with customers and contribute to the community spirit.

Responsibilities

• Handle checkouts and provide friendly service
• Assist on the shop floor with stock and customer help
• Maintain housekeeping and store cleanliness

• Support in-store bakery operations if required
