Job summary

Chelmsford Star Co-op is seeking enthusiastic team members to support daily store operations and serve customers and members across the community. You will help on checkouts, the shop floor, housekeeping and in-store bakery, while promoting membership benefits and contributing to a welcoming shopping environment.

We welcome applicants with flexibility across evenings and weekends, and we provide training, guidance, and opportunities to progress within the Society.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; be willing to learn and have pride in appearance and actions.

Responsibilities

• Cover diverse tasks in a fast-paced environment including checkouts and shop floor work.
• Assist with housekeeping, date code checking, temperature checks, administration, and in-store bakery activities.
