Chelmsford Star Co-op is hiring to support our community-focused store teams. You will join a multi-skilled team, covering checkouts, shop floor, housekeeping, date code checks, temperature checks, administration, and possibly assisting in the in-store bakery.

No prior experience required; bring a friendly, presentable attitude, a willingness to learn, and pride in serving customers and the community.

Qualifications

• You don't need prior experience; show pride in appearance and willingness to learn.
• You'll enjoy talking and listening to customers and being part of the community.
• A warm, friendly character to fit in with the in-store team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with checkouts and keep the shop floor tidy and welcoming.
• Support daily store running and maintain stock accuracy.
• Help with housekeeping, date code checks, temperature checks, and administration.
• Work in-store bakery when required.
