BaxterStorey is seeking a Flexible Catering, Hospitality & Events Assistant to join our Oxford operations. The role offers self-scheduled shifts across multiple locations and events, with no guaranteed hours, suitable for students or those seeking flexible work.

You will support high-quality service across corporate sites, events and hospitality functions, delivering excellent guest experiences and maintaining standards in food safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role, especially in the food service industry.
• Ability to deliver friendly and high-quality service across multiple locations and events.
• Capacity to adapt to varying shifts, venues and service styles.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, service, and presentation.
• Provide excellent customer service in corporate dining, hospitality suites and events.
• Set up and clear down service areas, meeting rooms and event spaces.
• Serve food and beverages, including plated service and buffets.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene per food safety regulations.
• Support kitchen and front-of-house teams as required.
• Handle basic customer queries professionally and efficiently.
• Adapt quickly to different venues and teams.
