Job summary

Right at Home Solent in Southampton is looking for Care Assistants to help older people live safely and independently at home. You will earn £14.80–£17.15 per hour (including holiday pay) with flexible, part-time permanent shifts.

We provide full paid training before you start and support from a friendly local team. Roles include personal care, meals, companionship, and light housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Available for 20+ hours per week.
• Willing to work at least 3 weekdays and alternate weekends.
• Positive, compassionate attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with personal care.
• Medication support.
• Prepare meals and drinks.
• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Light housekeeping and shopping.
• Help clients stay independent at home.
• Keep simple care records.
