Job summary

Locums First is seeking Locum Healthcare Assistants in Milford Haven to provide flexible clinical support across local primary care services. The role offers varied sessions suited to HCAs who show patient-facing skills and confidence in delivering routine clinical tasks.

You will support different primary care teams with essential observations, assist in treatment room duties, and contribute to smooth clinic flow, following clear guidance and structured workflows.

Qualifications

• HCA experience in primary care, community or NHS settings.
• Phlebotomy skills desirable.
• Ability to perform clinical observations confidently.
• Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine patient observations such as BP, pulse and temperature.
• Support treatment room procedures under clinical supervision.
• Conduct ECGs and basic health checks.
• Assist with phlebotomy if trained.
• Provide lifestyle advice and basic patient education.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Support clinicians with general duties where needed.
