Stanford Black in London is seeking a senior Java engineer to help build our first firmwide data analytics platform. You will contribute to a greenfield project, applying bleeding-edge technologies and open-source practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Java development experience.
• Passion for open-source technologies.
• Experience with Agile engineering principles (TDD, XP, pair programming).
• Nice to have: Kafka and Flink experience.
• Nice to have: cloud-native environments.
• Nice to have: Docker and Kubernetes deployment experience.
• Nice to have: Apache Druid familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Build out our first firmwide data analytics platform from the ground up.
• Bring new ideas and bleeding-edge technologies to the team.
• Design, develop, and deliver a greenfield platform from inception through delivery.
• Tackle complex technical problems and contribute to an open-source-friendly engineering culture.
