Job summary

Stanford Black in London is expanding its engineering team to deliver a new greenfield multi-asset trading platform. You will join an Agile squad focused on modern open source technologies and cloud-native architecture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years Java experience for junior roles, or 6+ years for senior roles.
• Experience with Agile/XP methodologies including TDD, BDD, and pair programming.
• Good design and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in a public cloud environment with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• No previous finance experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Join our Agile squad and help drive best practices such as TDD, BDD, and pair programming.
• Work on our greenfield multi-asset trading platform.
• Build with the latest version of Java, Kafka, and Kubernetes.
• Be cross-trained in Scala and Kotlin.
• Be cross-trained in open source technologies such as Helm, Grafana, and GraphQL.
