Tradewind Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic graduates to work as Cover Supervisors in South Manchester secondary schools on a flexible, ad hoc basis. Typical hours 8.20am to 3.20pm, Monday to Friday, with a focus on delivering pre-planned lessons and maintaining high classroom expectations. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Minimum six weeks' experience working with groups of children or teenagers within the last three years.
• Professional referee who can verify your experience.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS and professional references.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for classes when the teacher is absent.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and provided resources.
• Manage behaviour and maintain classroom expectations.
• Encourage independent learning.
• Support pupils with their learning.
• Provide a handover to the class teacher.
