You will deliver pre-planned lessons, manage classroom behaviour, follow safeguarding procedures, and provide detailed handovers to returning teachers, ensuring continuity. The role suits qualified teachers seeking control over their schedule, with no after-hours work

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (ECTs are welcome).
• Strong classroom management skills with an adaptable, positive, and professional approach.
• High reliability and punctual attendance for an 8:30 AM start.
• An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to obtain one).
• Documented right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across various subjects in Secondary Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a positive, productive learning environment.
• Follow school policies and robust safeguarding procedures at all times.
• Leave detailed handovers and notes for returning subject teachers to ensure continuity.
