Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a General Cover Teacher (QTS) in Bristol to provide flexible secondary teaching across subjects and year groups. You will teach pre-planned lessons, manage classrooms, and support safeguarding protocols, enjoying a workload-free evenings and weekends.

The role welcomes QTS or equivalent with strong behavior management, reliability, and the right to work in the UK. Availability for start times around 8:30 AM and DBS Update Service compliance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (ECTs welcome).
• Strong classroom management with an adaptable, professional approach.
• Reliable and punctual for an 8:30 AM start.
• Right to work in the UK; enhanced DBS (Update Service) preferred or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across various subjects in KS3 and KS4.
• Manage classroom behaviour to maintain a positive, productive learning environment.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and school policies at all times.
• Leave detailed handovers for returning subject teachers to ensure continuity.
